Privacy policy
Last updated: 12 June 2026.This page describes what junema.com, Junema’s showcase site, does with your data. The short answer: almost nothing, and only if you ask for it.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your data is:
Jérôme François, self-employed as a secondary occupation under Belgian law, trading under the business name “L’iartisan”. Company and VAT number: BE 0673.634.019 (exemption scheme, VAT not applicable). Established in Brunehaut (Hollain), Belgium. Contact: contact@junema.com
2. What this policy covers, and what it does not cover
This policy covers only the junema.com site: browsing its pages and the waiting-list form.
The Junema application (junema.app) has its own privacy policy, which describes in detail the household data, the AI models used and your rights within the app: junema.app/confidentialite. That policy prevails for the application.
3. The waiting list: what we collect, why, and for how long
What we collect. If you sign up for the waiting list, we collect your email address, the date and time of your sign-up, and the proof of your consent (the box you ticked). Nothing else.
Why. A single purpose: to send you one email to let you know Junema has opened. No newsletter, no follow-ups, no marketing. Your address is used for nothing else.
On what legal basis. Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time: every email contains a “Remove my address” link, and you can also write to us. Withdrawal removes your address from the list.
For how long. Your address is kept until Junema opens: once the opening email has been sent, it is deleted within 3 months. If Junema has not opened within 36 months of your sign-up, your address is deleted in any case.
Who this is for. This form is intended for adults. It is not intended for children.
4. Technical browsing data
Like any site, junema.com generates technical logs with its hosting provider (IP address, browser type, pages requested). They are used solely to run the site and protect it (security, abuse detection). Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short time, then deleted. They are not used for any profiling.
5. Cookies and trackers: none
This site does not set cookies. It uses no third-party audience measurement tool, no advertising pixel, no tracker. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to accept.
If this were ever to change, this policy would be updated beforehand, and your consent would be requested where the law requires it.
6. Who processes your data on our behalf
Three technical providers, each bound by a data processing agreement compliant with the GDPR (Article 28):
Vercel Inc. (United States): hosting and delivery of the site. Processes the technical browsing logs. Transfers outside the European Union are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Supabase: storage of the waiting list. Email addresses are stored on servers located in Frankfurt (Germany, European Union).
Resend (United States): sending of the waiting-list emails (sign-up confirmation, opening email). Processes your email address for the time of sending. Transfers governed by the standard contractual clauses.
Your data is never sold, never rented, never shared for advertising purposes. No one else has access to it.
7. Your rights
The GDPR gives you the right to: know whether we hold data about you, and which data (access); have it corrected (rectification); have it deleted (erasure); withdraw your consent at any time; receive your data in a readable format (portability); have processing restricted, or object to it.
To exercise a right: write to contact@junema.com. A human will reply to you within one month at the latest.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit): Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels. Website: autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.
8. If this policy changes
The date at the top of this page shows the last update. In the event of a real change (new data collected, new provider), this page is updated before the change, not after.
Authoritative version
This page is a translation provided for the reader’s convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version of this page prevails.
